DEAF, Inc. encourages and empowers Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind and Late-Deafened individuals to lead independent and productive lives. We offer a comprehensive package of programs and services in a supportive community environment that is linguistically and culturally accessible for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind and Late-Deafened individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural populations.
Where We Are
D.E.A.F., Inc. is headquartered in Allston (Boston), MA and operates satellite offices in 3 distinct regions statewide. Each office provides Deaf and Hard of Hearing Independent Living and related services, and is staffed by community members trained in the provision of these services.

- MCDHH awards DEAF, Inc. DHILS in 3 state regions
- Project HOPE launches successful "ASL for First Responders" training
History
D.E.A.F., Inc was founded by Deaf leaders from the National Association of the Deaf and the Massachusetts State Association of the Deaf and has served the Boston Metropolitan community since 1977. It is one of the first multi-service community based agencies run by and for people who are Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing or Late-Deafened. D.E.A.F., Inc is primarily funded by government and private sectors, donations and grassroots fundraising events.
